Elementary School

Our philosophy is rooted in Elementary Foundations. This approach brings the basics to life through engaged learning and hands-on projects in a supportive environment. Our students participate in a range of activities such as STEM, Art, Music, EdTech, Health, Library, and Physical Education throughout the week. Field trips connect classroom concepts with real-world applications.

At Smoke Rise Prep, we believe that the educational foundation built in the early years is essential to establish discipline, creativity, and character. Our goal is twofold: to engage students in rigorous academics and encourage strong character development.

We maintain high expectations for our students, both academically and personally. Our teachers challenge students to reach their full potential and provide opportunities for students to grow and develop their character. We believe that educating the whole child is paramount, and we provide a variety of activities to support this approach.

Our teachers use a variety of methods to engage students and teach them foundational skills, including direct teaching, partner reading, team/group activities, small group instruction, modeling, labs, games, and other strategies. With small class sizes, our teachers can provide individual attention to each student.

Our students thrive in our supportive environment. We encourage high expectations, push students academically, and provide outlets, mentors, and family engagement activities. Our students develop a strong sense of self that they carry with them through middle school and beyond.
